Lions add Armour & Harris

(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club announced today that import linebacker JoJuan Armour, import running back A.J. Harris have signed with the team. The Lions also announced the signing of non-import defensive lineman James Edwards. All three players will be on the practice field later this morning.

B.C. Lions Press Release

Analysis: The Lions defense has been battered over the last two games and while overall this season the Lions have posted average numbers, the re-addition of Armour who was with the Lions back in 2004 and 2005 and is familiar with a Wally Buno coached team will help boost the secondary.  Harris may be an even bigger signing for a team that is near the bottom in both total yards gained rushing and rushing attempts.  Harris will make a very formidable one-two punch with Ian Smart.

When we start at the start…

Welcome to Three Minute Warning… A blog about everything involved with the Canadian Football League.

I know it’s kinda curious that this blog is being started five weeks into the 2009 season… We would have been here a bit earlier but this past winter I agreed to start this blog the moment JoJuan Armour started his first game of the season.

Whoops.

So forget it, we can’t wait that long!  We’ll get started now!

Welcome to your Three Minute Warning!
